Chelsea Garden Quilt with Pat Campbell

This was my first year at Houston as an exhibitor.  I had placed the Chelsea Garden Quilt on the back wall of my booth and had many admirers looking at the colors, design and the quilting (by Richard Larson).  Pat Campbell and her husband John stopped by several times and were very pleased with the responses to Pat's quilt that was done in the hoop with an embroidery machine.  Pat honored me with allowing me to take a picture of her with the quilt.

My sister and I were first time vendors at the Houston Quilt Show early Nov.  It was a great learning experience.  Here are some pictures of our booths.

Chelsea Garden Lower Right Bottom Applique Border

Here are pictures of the Right Bottom Border.  There are 6 different hoopings for the bottom border, starting at the corner.  Each design is aligned with crosshairs.  These designs requried an 8 x 8 and 8 x 10 inch stitch area.

Chelsea Garden Lower Right Side Border Closeups

I am working on the applique borders for the Chelsea Garden Quilt by Pat Campbell.  I have finished the lower right applique border and working on the upper left.  Here are some closeup pictures of the lower right applique border.

Lower Right Applique Border for Chelsea Garden

This is a picture of my test stitch out of the Lower Right Applique Border.  I am currently stitching out on the final border and validating the instructions.  Alignment for each section is done by using crosshairs.  There are 10 hoopings for the full border and are done using a 8 x 8 and 8 x 10.  This pattern will be available in Oct 2011.
